Jesus Christ lived, died,and rose again so that we might have everlasting life, and that we might live our lives to the fullest. He is alive and real in people's lives today. He left a simple plan for those who want to know Him on a personal level, and enter into His salvation.
Repenting
Realising that our natural life is not acceptable to God and asking him to give us a spiritual life is one of the first steps in becoming a spirit filled Christian.

Jesus himself was baptised this way as an example to others. With baptism our old life is left behind and we begin our walk with God.
